Heroes N More began as a dream of David & Dawn Russell as  A way to give back to children like their Special needs Son Gabe. In 2013, they did their 1st event benefit for a little girl named, Sophia, with a non-cancerous brain disease.  THEY  wanted to bring some normalcy and happiness to the lives of children who are fighting BIG battles.

 

Dawn's first small group of 4 Heroes, has now swelled to over 40, and includes people from all walks of life. Active duty and military vets, stay-at-home-mothers, nurses, and professionals, all make up our group of helping hearts.

From that first child, we have grown to many Special Case Children, visited many hospitals, worked with hospice children, and sent Hero Boxes. Our Heroes have walked hundreds of miles for brain cancer, autism, breast cancer, oral cancer, and pediatric cancer, all 5K at a time. We have been asked to speak at Career Days, private events, shared our stories with the media and told our story many times over. Our Founder Dawn has MS and now we are adding this cause support to the many things we stand for and fight against.
