My name is Dawn. IBeing able to a make a difference in the life of children fighting big battles means everything to me. Not only do we make wishes come true, we give them a reason to hope and dream, HEED THE CALL OF A HERO!"
My name is Ben. I love bringing smiles to the faces of children and their families when they are going through one of the toughest times in their lives. My favorite moment with HNM is watching these brave fighters ring the bell, saying they are cancer free!
I'm Sandy, Dawn's mom. I joined HNM too help bring joy to children like my Granson. I am the oldest founding member and am proud of what my daughter has ben able to accomplish.
The reason I joined joining HnMin 2015, was because of the amazing people that are part of this team. This is more like a second family to me and the act of love that each one brings to help families and children all around is what makes me suit up and bring smiles to the kids we see and help.
My name is JohnSteven Diaz. I joined Heroes N More because I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself. I love being surrounded by other cosplayers like myself. My favorite color is blue and I love taking pictures of food every time I go to restaurants. Impacting communities and dressing up as characters to make someone else’s experience memorable is a double win.
My name is Katrina Lee. I joined Heroes n MOre bc my boyfriend was part of the group and I was just getting into cosplay. I also love helping out especially those in need. My favorite color is hunter green. I love pretending to be someone else and escaping from the crazy world around us.
My name is Sarah. I joined Heroes N More because I love volunteering and helping out my community. This is my 2nd year working with them. I am a teacher in my everyday life, but with HNM on the weekends I get to dress up as so many different characters, and bring smiles to not only children but adults as well.
My name is TJ. i joined HNM because from a young age my grandparents always took me to do charity work so we could give back to the community, Years of doing that with them and my schools rotary club, I decided I was going to help as many people as I could and if I could do it in cosplay that would be even better.
"HnM was my chance to give back. My thought was “why wait for this to be my child?” Now as I have given to children fighting cancer, my reason for continuing is my best friend and my Gmoney. HnM is my life and my reason for fighting my own battle with cancer.
I have worked with HNM since 2014. I have had the opportunity to meet and make many special memories with so many specula children. Each memory with each child means the absolute world to me. Seeing their eyes light up and their smiles gleam with happiness and excitement makes every moment worth spending with them.
Hi! I’m Holly. I joined Heroes N More because I love what they do for the children and families of our community! The best part of being with them and doing these events is seeing the smiles and excitement these kids have for these cosplay characters! I own a nonprofit rescue for Reptiles & Birds, so getting to volunteer and to be someone else for a day/weekend is a nice change of pace! My favorite color is Fuchsia/dark pink.
Hey! My name is Ryan. I joined Heroes N More because my wife Holly Fletcher met Dawn/Heroes N More, I already enjoyed doing cosplays, but I didn’t really have a reason/places to do them. Then Heroes N More helped expand that enjoyment and creativeness for my cosplays! Now my wife and I have multiple reasons to do cosplays..we get to spend time together, be different characters, and of course bringing smiles to the kids/adults!
My name is Esmeralda. I’ve always loved dedicating my time towards my community in any way I can. The happiness, compassion, and hope Hero’s N More brings to children and families during difficult times is something I’ve always admired. We help them forget the scary world we live in and sprinkle a little bit of magic to their day.
I actually started with HNM over 3 years ago. I met Dawn at an event, she was dressed as Rainbow Brite. I just instantly decided I found my calling. The friendships since then have been amazing. I love what HNM represents!
I’m Mike. I am just a nerdy dad who loves to make others smile and laugh. Finding ways to support those in need is always something I’m down for! So finding and joining HnM has been a total blessing! It’s tough work sometimes but spreading joy to those who need it is at the core of who I am!
